New MS Diagnosis: Heather's Story

erickaandersen

A new Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis can be scary. Heather Torphy was only diagnosed this year and is still navigating her way through the beginning stages of MS.

She says she didn't experience symptoms that she knew of until one day when her vision became blurred and half of her face froze up. After many tests, she had her answer. In this interview, Heather speaks with us about her journey those far and how she is staying positive.

As a certified yoga instructor and health professional, she is very in tune with her body and working hard to understand all she will need to do to be pro-active in her fight against MS. Regular physical activity and gratitude are two non-medication therapies she is sure to include everyday.
